Reporting to: Laboratory Manager
Job Summary: The Laboratory Technologist will provide high-quality laboratory services in support of patient care, training, and research at Mildmay Hospital Uganda. The role requires adherence to professional standards and quality management systems to ensure accurate and timely laboratory results.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Laboratory Technology or Medical Laboratory Sciences.
- Registration with the Allied Health Professionals Council and possession of a valid Annual Practising Licence.
- Training and/or experience in the implementation of ISO 15189 and Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) standards.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in a busy medical laboratory.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
