Allied Health Sciences
Word from the Dean
Welcome to the School of Allied Health Sciences at Mildmay Institute of Health Sciences.
Our school stands at the intersection of science, diagnostics, and patient-centered care—preparing skilled professionals who are essential to modern healthcare delivery. Allied health professionals form the backbone of effective diagnosis, treatment, and health system strengthening, and we take pride in training graduates who meet these demands with excellence.
Our academic programmes are designed to build strong scientific foundations while fostering practical competencies in laboratory sciences, clinical support services, and emerging healthcare technologies. Students benefit from hands-on training, exposure to real clinical environments, and a curriculum that integrates leadership, communication, and quality management systems—skills that are increasingly critical in today’s healthcare landscape.
Guided by MIHS’s vision of being a leader in health professional development, we are committed to producing graduates who are innovative, ethical, and adaptable to evolving health needs.
We also place strong emphasis on research and continuous professional development, ensuring that our students and faculty contribute to generating knowledge that improves health outcomes locally and globally.
I invite you to be part of this vibrant academic community as we work together to advance healthcare through science, innovation, and service.
