Rev. Prof. Sam Lugoba was appointed as Chairman, Board of Directors of Mildmay Uganda (MUg) in 2010. He is a Medical Doctor by profession, Surgeon, Associate Professor of Anatomy, and a Priest with the Anglican Church of Uganda.
About his role at MUg, he states “My vision for Mildmay Uganda is for it to be a multi-purpose self sustained institution, providing evidence based, high quali/ty, integrated and family centred health care to people suffering from HIV/AIDS, and other priority Health Problems; also providing high quality context based training of health care providers especially in prevention, care and treatment and engaged in cutting edge research.”
Eng. Proscovia Margaret Njuki joined Mildmay Uganda as a Board member in 2010. She is Electrical Engineer with a long working experience in Public service; and continues to be active in civic, public, & international organizations. She is the first female engineering graduate in Uganda.
