In 2013, Mildmay Uganda unveiled her new Strategic Plan 2013/14 – 2018/19 under the theme
“Journey from Good to Great”.
The Plan represents and brought with it a change management process withresounding focus to rebranding into a great national HIV service organization capable of offering “thought leadership” through impactful programs, robust research and innovation, strategic partnerships and reach 627,984 clients in Uganda and East African region with sustainable and high impact Integrated HIV services. As well as diversifying our income base, we aim to raise 70% of our total funding for the entire Strategic Plan period through donor grants.
The ICASA Conference - Harare, ZimbabweMildmay Uganda had three poster presentations in the recently concluded 18th International Conference on AIDS and STI in Africa (ICASA) held in Harare-Zimbabwe between 29th November and 4th December 2015 under the theme;- AIDS in The Post 2015 Era-Linking Leadership, Science and Human Rights. Mildmay Uganda was represented by three people at this Conference and most of the deliberations were geared towards ending AIDS by 2030 through adopting sustainable epidemic control , renewing our commitment in terms of behavioural change, promote evidence based interventions like; eMCTC, SMC, and increasing domestic funding through political will.
